For bars, pubs and taprooms
A quiet Tuesday
is a game night.
A host brings bingo, trivia or music bingo to your TV. Your patrons play free on their own phones, your specials run on the big screen between calls, and the table that came for one round stays for three.
What the bar gets
-
Two more hours of tabs
Players stay for the next round, and the one after. A game night runs about two hours, and the room is full for all of it.
-
Nothing to buy, nothing to install
The host brings the laptop, the games and the caller. You provide a TV and wifi. Patrons play on their own phones, or on a printed card.
-
Your specials on the big screen
Tonight's specials and your local sponsors rotate on the TV between calls, in front of everyone, all night.
-
Wins nobody argues about
Every bingo is checked by the server against the balls actually called. The room believes it, and your staff never referee.
Three games, one TV
Game 01Bingo
The classic, run like a game show. Twenty patterns, eleven card colours so every round looks new, prize games between rounds, and a spoken caller when the host needs a hand free.
Game 02Trivia
Pub trivia with the table as the team. 66,898 questions in 42 categories, picture rounds and name-that-tune, scored on the TV. Teams answer on their phones or on printed sheets.
Game 03HitList music bingo
Bingo where the squares are song titles. 85 themed playlists, the music video on your TV, and the whole room singing while it hunts for the square.
How a night runs
-
The host plugs into your TV
One HDMI cable or a cast. The big screen shows the calls, the prizes and your specials, and tells the room where to join all night.
-
Your patrons join in one step
They scan the QR code on the TV or type the code at bargames.live. No app, no account. Someone who walks in during round three is playing thirty seconds later.
-
The host runs the room
Calls, checks, prizes, the next game. Your staff pour drinks. About two hours, and the room is full the whole time.
What you need
- A TV
- Anything with an HDMI port, or that the host can cast to. It only has to show a browser window.
- Wifi that mostly works
- Players who drop off rejoin where they left off. Nobody loses a card.
- A night that could use a crowd
- Weeknights are where game nights live. Pick the one that is quiet now and will not be.
Questions bar owners ask
What does a game night cost the venue?
You book the host the way you would book a DJ or a trivia company; the games themselves cost the venue nothing and patrons play free. There is no equipment to buy and nothing to install.
What do we need to have?
A TV the host can plug into over HDMI or cast to, wifi that mostly works, and a night that could use a crowd. The host brings the laptop, the games and the caller.
Do patrons need to download anything?
No. They scan the QR code on the TV or type the game code at bargames.live. No app, no account, no email. Anyone who would rather play on paper gets a printed card.
Can our specials go on the screen?
Yes. Your specials and local sponsors rotate on the TV between calls, all night.
Is it gambling?
No. Every game is free to play with no purchase necessary. Prizes are whatever the venue chooses to offer, and gambling is strictly forbidden.
